EmpowerKids-South Sudan delivers four integrated programs that work together to transform lives: education, conservation agriculture, youth empowerment, and advocacy & civic engagement.

Education Program

The Education Program focuses on increasing access to quality education for children and youth, particularly in underserved areas. We support underprivileged students, strengthen teacher capacity through training, improve school infrastructure, and integrate digital learning tools and resources to create inclusive and innovative learning environments.

Conservation Agriculture (Empower Farmers South Sudan) Program

"Cultivating Quality, Yielding Trust"

This program promotes sustainable, climate-smart farming practices that improve food security and protect the environment. We train smallholder farmers in the Foundations for Farming techniques, such as zero tillage, mulching, composting, and efficient water management, and we establish community demonstration farms to showcase best practices and inspire wider adoption.

The Youth Empowerment Program is dedicated to nurturing young leaders and changemakers. Through entrepreneurship boot camps, innovation hubs, leadership and life skills training, and mentorship programs, we equip South Sudanese youth with the confidence, knowledge, and opportunities they need to drive positive change in their communities.

Advocacy & Civic Engagement Program

“Championing Active Citizenship for a Brighter Future.”

This program empowers communities to participate actively in democratic processes and governance. We organize community forums on civic rights and responsibilities, train community leaders and activists in advocacy and lobbying techniques, and partner with policymakers to promote community-driven legislative and policy changes that prioritize education, youth development, and environmental sustainability.
