Expanding learning opportunities and improving the quality of education for children and young people in South Sudan.
Program Mission:
Key Focus Areas:
To expand equitable access to quality education, strengthen teacher capacity, and integrate innovative learning tools that empower South Sudanese children and youth to thrive academically and socially. The program seeks to ensure that every learner, regardless of background, has the opportunity, support, and resources needed to reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Strengthening classroom instruction by equipping teachers with modern, learner-centered teaching methodologies.
Digital Learning & Innovation (SolarSPELL):
Supporting underprivileged learners through school materials, scholarships, and community-based education initiatives.
Teacher Training & Professional Development:
Expanding digital access through offline learning libraries, tablets, and ICT-supported instruction in remote schools.
Access to Quality Education:
School Infrastructure & Learning Environment:
Improving school facilities, providing solar power, and creating safe, girl-friendly learning spaces
Girls’ Education & Menstrual Health Support:
Reducing barriers to girls’ education through reusable sanitary kits, hygiene training, and awareness programs.
Peace Education & Youth Engagement in Schools:
Promoting a culture of dialogue, unity, and critical thinking through peace essay competitions and leadership clubs.


Program Results & Achievements:
This section highlights the tangible results, milestones, and positive outcomes achieved through our Education Program activities, reflecting the real impact created within the communities we serve.
Delivered 15 SolarSPELL digital libraries and 70 tablets to schools in partnership with Arizona State University, giving learners offline access to thousands of educational resources.


Trained 15 secondary school teachers through ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, equipping educators with modern instructional skills.




Distributed 2,000+ reusable sanitary kits to female learners in partnership with Days for Girls International, improving attendance and confidence.
Conducted competitions in 40 secondary schools, reaching 394 students and 120 teachers, promoting peace, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Installed solar systems at Nimule Model Secondary School and Juba Girls Secondary School, powering labs, water systems, and classrooms for improved learning.
Supported 37 South Sudanese students into the Bridge2Rwanda Scholars Program, where all earned fully funded scholarships to international universities (Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, ASU, etc.).
