The Programme

Creating pathways for young people to learn, participate and lead

Young people are central to the future of South Sudan. EmpowerKids–South Sudan’s Youth Empowerment programme creates practical opportunities for young women and men to develop skills, explore livelihoods, strengthen leadership abilities and have their voices heard.

The programme combines youth leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship, public participation and platforms for young people to contribute ideas on peace and development.

Our youth work also connects with EKSS’s education and conservation agriculture programmes, creating wider pathways for learning, livelihoods and participation.
